Starsprout Town is home to the Blackwood's family, the Richards' family, the DaVigne's family, and the the main character's family.

Professor Blackwood has a two story laboratory & observatory. He studies how space affects Pokemon. He has collected countless amounts of data on sunstones, moonstones, star pieces, meteors, star dust, and even had his hands on the legendary lustrous orb before it mysteriously vanished. He lives in the living wing of the lab with his wife and daughter.

Kelly DaVigne, one of the main character's best friends and the storyline rival, lives in Starsprout with her one bothersome brother and her parents. She spends hours pouring her soul into her musical gift, and is inspired to become a world famous popstar. Her favorite childhood story is the legend of the Prismatic Trio. She secretly has a crush on Garrett.

Garrett Richards, the main character's other best friend, is an athlete. He has a passion for sports, and can get the attention of almost any girl. He loves tough pokemon, and, like the main character, wants to become a great Pokemon Trainer.

The main character lives with his parents, younger brother, and younger sister. The player's journey begins when, in a dream, he is contacted by the legendary Starotheon and is told to protect the balance between the Celestial Bodies.
